What we collect when you ask us to plan a trip or join the letter — and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send a trip brief we collect the name, email address, travel dates, party size, interests and notes you choose to share. When you subscribe to the Slow Letter we collect your email address.
The site also stores a shortlist and an unfinished trip brief in your browser. That information stays on your device until you clear it.
Why we collect it
To reply to your brief, to plan and refine a route with you, and — if you opt in — to send an occasional letter. We do not sell personal information or add you to unrelated marketing lists.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and maintain our working relationship. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing lindarren933@gmail.com. You can unsubscribe from the letter using the link in any issue, or by writing to the same address.
Service providers
Inquiries and newsletter subscriptions are stored on our own server in local data files. We use no third-party advertising trackers. If we add an email service or analytics later, this note will be updated before it goes live.
